I began drawing in 1984 and wanted to further develop my interest in stained glass by drawing all of my patterns for the glass I would create.  After experimenting with several different mediums, I became so enthralled in creating art through painting that I never went back to stained glass. I now paint primarily in watercolor and oil and enjoy painting Charleston scenes.

I have attended workshops through the years with many acclaimed local and international artists. I am a member/co-owner of the Courtyard Art Gallery in downtown Charleston. I have won numerous awards throughout my career as an artist. I also am a member of the Charleston, Folly Beach and Summerville Artist Guilds.
