Artist Statement As an artist, I am committed to (1) pursuing excellence, (2) presenting myself and my artwork in a professional manner, (3) growing in my artistic ability and creative gifts, (4) exploring a variety of media and (5) encouraging others to discover and express their creativity. My goal is that my art be an invitation to the viewer, perhaps to open the eyes of one’s heart, to engage deeper and symbolic exploration, at times to enjoy the sensation of color, shape, texture, line, and sometimes to simply be a resting place. |
